Aisha Jamila hinds, a popular American actor. She is known for the roles she played in the TV show The Shield, and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated in 2003 with her outstanding performances in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit The Shield, 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. Her character of Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was her first performance to grab her attention. However, it was her performance as Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) on the biographical All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind received praise by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical dramatic series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for a third season.
